Mwnci
Branding • Social Media • Toy Design • Print

I’ve been working with Aled, Liz and their children since the very start of Mwnci. The couple’s aim is two-fold: 1) to counter the sea of garish plastic toys by crafting beautiful wooden toys and 2) to promote the Welsh language through play. Being bilingual and environmentally conscious, I was ideally placed to work on the Welsh-language products.

Since working with Mwnci, I’ve designed tactile toys, created playful branding, produced designs for gift vouchers and bunting, drawn colouring sheets, made assets for social media and helped them raise brand awareness at the Eisteddfod. The best part of working for Mwnci is getting to see the company’s idea become a reality, one that is changing the way children play and helping parents to pass on the Welsh language.
